J Hus
J Hus is one of the hottest propositions in British music today. In 2015, his first ever mixtape 15th Day all but created a new genre and he was quickly crowned king of the scene. The release of his gold selling debut album ‘Common Sense’ earned him the number six spot on the official album chart, selling an impressive 240k plus units to date. His single ‘Did You See’ also went on to become a top ten, platinum selling single, having sold well over 600,000 units. ‘Common Sense’ would be nominated for the prestigious 2017 Mercury Prize, Hus would additionally be nominated for a whopping four MOBO awards, three Brit awards and receive ‘Best Album’ at the NME awards.
In 2020, Hus surprised fans with his sophomore album ‘Big Conspiracy’, within the first week the album reached no.1, making it his first album to ever reach the peak of the album charts. The album then went on to help Hus receive three MOBO awards and a Brit award. In 2023, J Hus gave the world the highly anticipated follow up to Big Conspiracy, with his third album ‘Beautiful And Brutal Yard’. The album featured the likes of Drake, Popcaan, Jorja Smith, Burna Boy and more. Hus made history again reaching no.1 in the album charts and this time reaching no.2 with ‘Who Told You (ft. Drake)’ marking it Hus’ highest single ever in the UK charts.
